Disappointed at their irresponsibleness
Long story short, they advertised a pad as being "fully verified and %100 legit", which made me feel secure enough to apply with some personal info, but it turned out to be a scam. Incredibly irresponsible and truly false advertisement.
To whom it may concern,
I recently came across a "pad" that met all of my wants and needs, but was skeptical because it seemed too good to be true. The rent was low, it was spacious, close to work, very nice, etc.
So, I was worried that it could be a scam because of this. However, I felt reassured when I saw that it was an "Exclusive" that had been "fully verified and 100% legit". Therefore, I got in contact with them and sent an application with some of my personal info.
Unfortunately, after some more research of the property, I found out that there were 4 other listings with the same pictures and description but located in different states. When I confronted the owner about this, he completed ignored it and proceeded to tell me that I could send him money to receive the keys to the property.
I work in banking and knew right after that it had to be a scam. I never saw the property, there were multiple listings, and we never met, yet he "approved me" so that I could send the money "ASAP". I am extremely disappointed of how RadPad, an app that I recommended to my friends, would advertise the property as being legit when it in fact is completely fraud. I dont know how that would be possible or how you can advertise something so easily when it is false and could potentially harm your users.
This is incredibly irresponsible on your part and should be ashamed. I only hope now that my personal information wont be taken advantage of and also hope that no one fell victim to this because of the property being advertised as "rented". I cannot report it because of that.
I am going to have to discontinue doing business with RadPad and will deter my friends/family from using this app.
